Yup. Disney sure was racist before they added a black woman.

Because everyone knows that the only races there are in the world is black and not black.

Silly Disney.

While I love Princess and the frog, the idea that Disney hadn’t done any other racial differences is mindblowing. I mean really?

Add to that the “Ooh, mixed race couple! How inclusive!” argument.

Ariel becomes human. Eric and Ariel are both white.

And gypsy is a slur used to refer to Romani people. Congrats on not being racist.

There are far more white princes and princesses and couples in Disney, not only in their classic cartoons, but in their current shows and movies.

In terms of the first 6 ladies, 3 were not the main protagonists, and 5 of their stories revolved around being a love interest.

Racial diversity is important, and so is being an actualized human being with goals and faults. Two things Disney isn’t the best at, particularly with the ladies.

WAIT SO IS THE ARGUMENT HERE THAT DISNEY IS RACIST BECAUSE THEY USE A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT CULTURES IN THEIR FILMS?
